Golf Coaching Grant
THIRTEEN Wiltshire clubs have applied this year for the £200 grant
from the EGU/ELGA which is available to Golf Clubs to attract new players
into the game - both adults and juniors. They are: Basset Down, Bowood,
Broome Manor, Chippenham, Hamptworth, High Post, Kingsdown, Marlborough,
North Wilts, Rushmore Park, Tidworth, Upavon & West Wilts. It's not

Junior
Club Coaching Grant
Funding of £150 per club is available if you have a structured,
regular coaching programme for junior players. Clubs need to match the
funding. So far fourteen Wiltshire Clubs have applied for this funding
in 2007. They are Bowood, Broome Manor, Chippenham, Hamptworth, High Post,
Kingsdown, Marlborough, North Wilts, The Wiltshire, Tidworth and Upavon,
West Wilts, Westbury La Farge & Basset Down. Click here to download

Five
Wiltshire Clubs achieve Golfmark
Five
Wiltshire clubs are among the first in the country to achieve Golfmark
accreditation - the award which recognises that clubs are beginner and
junior friendly.
They
clubs, which were all awarded Junior Golfmark, are NORTH WILTS, TIDWORTH,
CUMBERWELL PARK, BROOME MANOR and HAMPTWORTH.
Cumberwell is the first of them to achieve the upgraded award which incorportes
Clubmark - the standard recognised in all sports.
Five
Wiltshire clubs are currently working towards the new Golfmark Standard
which integrates Clubmark - they are Wrag Barn, West Wilts, High Post,
Hamptworth, and Chippenham. Click
